About ENPUAI
What is ENPUAI and what does it do?
The Endurable Peace and Unity Ambassadors Initiative (ENPUAI) is a Nigerian non-governmental organisation dedicated to building sustainable peace across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. We facilitate community dialogue, train peacebuilders, mediate farmer-herder conflicts, support youth leadership, and bridge ethnic and religious divides. Our work spans early warning systems, interfaith dialogue, women’s peacebuilding, and post-conflict reconciliation across more than 250 communities.
Is ENPUAI a religious or political organisation?
No. ENPUAI is neither a religious nor a political organisation. We are an independent, non-partisan civil society body registered under Nigerian law. We work with all faith communities — Christian, Muslim, and traditional — and with people of every political background. Lasting peace in Nigeria requires the participation of all Nigerians, and we maintain strict neutrality to remain a trusted broker for all parties.
Where does ENPUAI operate across Nigeria?
ENPUAI operates across all 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory. Our deepest programme presence is in conflict-affected states including Plateau, Benue, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Taraba, Kogi, and Zamfara. We have active peace networks in over 250 communities and government-level partnerships with multiple state administrations, traditional institutions, and international development organisations.
Who leads and works at ENPUAI?
ENPUAI is governed by a Board of Trustees and led by an Executive Management Team drawn from peacebuilding, public administration, development finance, and civil society. Our staff are based across Nigeria, supported by a nationwide network of over 2,000 trained volunteer peacebuilders and field facilitators. We are a majority-Nigerian team committed to homegrown, community-led solutions for Nigerian peace.
Getting Involved & Supporting Our Work

How can I support ENPUAI's work financially?
You can support ENPUAI by making a donation through our Donate page. We accept individual donations, zakat and sadaqah contributions, corporate social responsibility (CSR) partnerships, and institutional funding. Every contribution — large or small — goes directly towards community dialogue, peacebuilder training, and reconciliation work. We provide transparent reporting on fund utilisation to all donors.
Does ENPUAI offer grants or funds to individuals?
ENPUAI does not currently provide financial grants directly to individuals. Our resources are directed into community-level programmes, peacebuilder training, dialogue facilitation, and institutional capacity building. If you are a registered Nigerian or international organisation working on peace and reconciliation and wish to explore a programme partnership, please reach out through our Contact Us page.
How can my organisation partner with or fund ENPUAI?
ENPUAI actively seeks partnerships with Nigerian and international organisations, government agencies, development banks, UN agencies, and private sector donors committed to peace in Nigeria. We hold audited accounts, transparent governance structures, and results-reporting frameworks that meet international donor standards.
