The Endurable Peace and Unity Ambassadors Initiative

ENPUAI — the Endurable Peace and Unity Ambassadors Initiative — is a registered Nigerian nonprofit committed to fostering sustainable peace, national unity, and youth empowerment across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. We work directly inside communities, deploying evidence-based peacebuilding approaches that transform entrenched conflict into lasting dialogue, and deep division into meaningful collaboration. Everything we do is shaped by the voices of the people we serve.

Delivering Change Where\nIt Matters Most

how we help.

Communities in Conflict

We enter communities affected by ethnic tension, land disputes, and inter-group violence. Through facilitated community dialogues, we help neighbours who have been divided rediscover shared values, negotiate coexistence, and build lasting local peace architectures.

Youth Leaders

Young Nigerians aged 15–35 are our greatest partners for change. We run targeted leadership academies, civic education boot camps, and youth peace ambassador programmes to equip the next generation with the tools to resolve conflict in their own communities.

Women & Girls

We actively centre women in peace processes. Our women's peace circles, trauma-informed workshops, and women's leadership fellowships ensure that 50% of peacebuilding decisions in every community we serve are shaped and led by women.

Faith & Traditional Leaders

Nigeria's traditional rulers, emirs, chiefs, and faith leaders hold profound moral authority. We partner with them as primary ambassadors of peace, integrating reconciliation frameworks into religious teachings and traditional conflict resolution systems.

Civil Society Organisations

We collaborate with NGOs, CBOs, and faith-based organisations working across Nigeria's 250+ ethnic groups. By building joint platforms for peacebuilding advocacy, we amplify collective impact and avoid duplicating effort in fragile communities.

Schools & Universities

Our Peace Education Curriculum reaches students from primary school to university level, embedding tolerance, critical thinking, and civic identity formation into academic life — creating a generation that regards diversity as Nigeria's strength.

Voices from the Field

The real measure of our work is not in reports — it is in the voices of the communities we serve. Here is what community members, youth ambassadors, and partner organisations across Nigeria say about ENPUAI’s impact.

Before ENPUAI came to our community in Plateau State, we had not spoken to our Fulani neighbours in three years. After their dialogue programme, we sat together, shared a meal, and signed a co-existence agreement. Peace is now our new normal.
Aisha Bello Community Leader, Plateau State
The ENPUAI Youth Peace Ambassador programme changed my life. I was involved in street violence in Kano. Today I lead conflict resolution workshops for over 200 young people in my local government. I owe that transformation to ENPUAI.
Emeka Okafor Youth Ambassador, Anambra State
As a woman in a community where our voices were never heard in peace talks, ENPUAI's Women's Peace Circle gave us a seat at the table. Now women like me are mediators, not just bystanders. That shift is irreversible.
Fatima Aliyu Women's Circle Coordinator, Kano State
ENPUAI understands that in Nigeria, sustainable peace must pass through the pulpit and the palace. Their partnership with our interfaith council in Rivers State has produced a model that other states are now looking to replicate.
Pastor David Okonkwo Interfaith Council, Rivers State
