The Endurable Peace and Unity Ambassadors Initiative

The Endurable Peace and Unity Ambassadors Initiative has formally launched its most ambitious programme to date, deploying trained conflict resolution facilitators across every Nigerian state.

Abuja, March 2026 — The Endurable Peace and Unity Ambassadors Initiative (ENPUAI) today announced the formal launch of its National Peacebuilding Programme — a coordinated effort that will bring trained community facilitators, youth ambassador networks, and school-based peace education to all 36 Nigerian states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The programme, funded through a combination of domestic philanthropic support and an international peacebuilding grant from the United Nations Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO), represents ENPUAI’s most ambitious operational expansion since the organisation was registered under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020.

“This is not a new idea for ENPUAI — we have been working at the community level in nearly every corner of Nigeria for years,” said the Executive Director at the launch ceremony held in Abuja. “What is new is the scale, the national coordination, and the commitment to long-term sustainability.”

The programme focuses on three pillars: structured community dialogue; youth peace ambassador training; and early warning and response systems in conflict-prone communities. ENPUAI is partnering with state governments, traditional rulers, faith leaders, and civil society organisations to ensure community ownership of peace processes at every level.
